HICT Toastmasters Installation Dinner 2009/2010

Finally, We are having our installation dinner tonite with the attendance of our area Governor C3, Mr. Allen Gan despite his busy schedule. Thanks to Shireen as the organizing chair for the installation dinner. Hopefully HICT TM Club will grow bigger and stronger in the future.

Congratulation! Mike Cheang

Congrats! TM Mike Cheang to accomplished his competent communicator manual in November 2009 recently. He became a Toastmaster member beginning of 2009. He took 10 months to achieve his first TM title, competent communicator & wish him all the best to continue his journey in Toastmaster.

Welcome! Ms Ng

During our last meeting in September 29, we are very honor to have Ms.Ng to join our meeting and she will be joining us for the coming meeting in Oct 27. During the club break time, we have a short conversation. During the conversation, she told us the reason she wanna join Toastmaster is to improve her English. She told us that it is very important to learn and improve in order to create values for your employer to give you the chance to climb up the corporate ladder.
In fact, working in a corporate there are always competition among colleagues. So who should your superior choose among all subordinates if their is a empty higher position in the company?
